Only seniors who are actively seeking entry-level positions will be attending the fair. Students starting a 4-year college in Fall of 2023 are being discouraged from attending. The fair is for career-bound students only. Only businesses looking to hire graduating seniors 18+ into entry-level career related positions are encouraged to register and attend. \n\nHere are the event details and how to register: \n-Please fill out the form below to register. Unfortunately\, space is limited. Therefore\, businesses will be notified by March 1\, 2023\, if their registration was accepted and are able to attend!\n\n-The cost is FREE to businesses. \n-Businesses can set up inside the Drake Center OR outside in the parking lot starting at 8:00 AM.\n\n-Hands on activities\, hiring managers/speed interviews\, handouts with job descriptions for students\, candy/treats/swag\, etc. are all encouraged.\n-Students will start arriving at 9:15AM and stay until 1:00PM. New students will be arriving approximately every 30 minutes.\n-Students are required to bring a resume and be prepared for a short interview on the spot.\n-We will provide a rectangle table and 2 chairs to businesses who set up inside the Drake Center. DESCRIPTION:The CTE Opportunities Fair is an opportunity for High School Juniors and Seniors to develop contacts and relationships with potential schools and businesses offering career choices. Schools and businesses will have the opportunity to meet and advise students about potential career pathways. There is a high demand for those interested in pursuing a career within various trades and hands-on careers. This event will provide the opportunity to bring interested students\, schools\, and businesses together to work towards a successful future. \nThe Windsor/Severance FFA Alumni and Supporters are proud to organize and offer this event. Our mission is to provide future pathway opportunities for all CTE students around the Northern Colorado and Cheyenne\, WY region. All funds generated from the event will contribute to purchasing equipment\, supplies\, facility improvements\, and scholarship opportunities within the Career and Technical Education programs (Windsor/Severance) Schools District. We appreciate your interest and attendance at this CTE Opportunity Fair.
